Patrick Thornton joins Manhattan Resources as CFO and Executive Search Consultant after spending 25 years in accounting and finance management. He has held leadership roles as Controller and CFO for GE Capital, Newell Brands, Mitsubishi’s Natural Gas & Crude Oil trading division, and a private equity-owned specialty distributor.
His functional experience also includes the management of human resources and information technology departments. As a result of his multi-functional understanding and communication skills, Patrick has led positive change and improvement at many of the corporations he has served.
Growing up in his family’s multi-generational business gave Patrick a unique perspective. From his experiences, he was able to develop his successful approach to team building and corporate excellence: “Fit, Quality, and Service Come First.”
Patrick has a Bachelor’s degree in Business with a focus in Accounting from Western Illinois University. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant. He and his wife Mary live in Houston and have three children.
