Bill Kimla serves as Director of Business Development and Executive Search Consultant at Manhattan Resources. Bill comes to Manhattan Resources following a forty-year career in business in both the public and private B2B sectors. His broad background includes both strategic and transformational roles in commercial leadership as well as human resources. Bill has managed teams of up to 45 people producing $400M in revenue across North America.
He is experienced in all areas of Sales and Sales Leadership and played key roles in the acquisition and integration of businesses in the Industrial Gas and Chemical Distribution industries. His experiences range from working in an established French-owned public company to high-pressure PE-owned business environments.
Bill joined Manhattan Resources after trying out retirement. However, he missed the satisfaction that comes from building and motivating high-performing teams. After finding and interviewing hundreds of candidates for key positions on his teams, he knows how frustrating, time-consuming, and risky the process can be. By joining Manhattan Resources, he is excited to be able to partner with his clients to pursue top talent and build high-performing competitive teams.
Bill has a B.A. in Education from Western Illinois University and resides in the East Texas countryside with Josette, his wife. He has three married children and five grandchildren. Bill is actively involved in his community as a member of Rotary International and as a board member of the United Way of East Central Texas.
